Muscat Municipality redevelops al Wadi Park in Baushar with modern facilities

Muscat Municipality has completed the redevelopment of Wadi Park in the Wilayat of Baushar as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance public parks and recreational spaces across Muscat Governorate.

Located in a strategic area of Baushar, Wadi Park has long served as a popular open space for residents and visitors, providing a recreational destination for families and community activities. The redevelopment project aims to revitalise the park and upgrade its facilities in line with modern standards, offering visitors a more enjoyable outdoor experience.

Covering an area of 53,000 square metres, the newly upgraded park features a modern and innovative design, with 25,000 square metres allocated for green spaces that enhance the natural environment and provide attractive areas for relaxation and leisure.

The redevelopment works introduced a range of new facilities, including dedicated cycling paths, pedestrian walkways, shaded seating areas, and public restrooms to ensure greater comfort and accessibility for visitors.

The project comes as part of Muscat Municipality’s continued efforts to develop sustainable public spaces and improve the quality of life by providing well-designed recreational facilities that cater to the needs of residents and visitors across the governorate.
